This policy explains the handling (collection, use, sharing, storage, and deletion) of user data within the App.

1. Information Collected and Used

1-1. Information Primarily Processed and Stored Locally on the Device

The App primarily processes and stores the following information locally on your device:

• Image folder information selected by the user (path, SAF URI, display name, read settings)
• Image metadata (file path, display name, size, last modified date, resolution, hash values, etc.)
• User-created data (tags, ratings, favorites, libraries, notes, related URLs)
• Settings information (display settings, sort order, widget settings, AI model status, ad-removal purchase status, etc.)
• Backup data generated and saved by the backup feature

Supplementary Notes:

• AI image analysis is performed using an on-device model.
• There is no feature that automatically transmits the image files themselves to servers managed by the Developer.

1-2. Information Involving External Communication

The following features involve communication with external services:

• Ad Display (Google Mobile Ads SDK)
  • Ads are displayed when the ad-removal feature is not purchased.
  • Device information, identifiers, IP addresses, etc., necessary for ad delivery may be processed by Google or ad network providers.
• In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)
  • Purchase information is processed through Google Play when purchasing or restoring a one-time purchase plan.
• AI Model Download
  • Retrieves AI model files from GitHub Releases upon user action.
• ISDN(International Standard Dojin Numbering) Information Retrieval
  • Sends the code inputted by the user to isdn.jp to retrieve bibliographic information.
• Font Retrieval
  • When retrieving runtime fonts via google_fonts, communication with Google Fonts-related servers may occur.
• Inquiry Form
  • When opening the Google Form, the App version and platform information are appended as URL parameters.
• External Sharing / External Links
  • When the user uses the image sharing feature, images are shared with the selected external apps (only upon user action).
  • External sites like Pixiv may be opened in a browser upon user action.

2. Purpose of Use

The collected and processed information is used for the following purposes:

• Image viewing, searching, organizing, tag management, and library management
• Providing AI tagging features (on-device inference)
• Providing backup and restore features
• Displaying ads and reflecting ad-removal status
• Confirming and restoring purchase status
• Providing a channel for user inquiries
• Investigating issues and improving quality

3. Third-Party Provision and External Transmission

The Developer will not sell user personal information unless required by law.
The main external services used in the App are as follows:

• Google Play Services (Billing processing)
• Google Mobile Ads (Ad delivery)
• Google Fonts (Font delivery)
• Google Forms (Inquiries)
• GitHub Releases (AI model distribution)
• isdn.jp (Bibliographic information retrieval)

Data handling by each service complies with the privacy policies of their respective providers.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• The main data of the App is stored locally on the device and retained until the user deletes it.
• Users can delete data using the in-app deletion feature, device settings (clear app data), or by uninstalling the App.
• If backup files are saved externally, their management and deletion are the user's responsibility.
• Data retained by third-party services, such as ads and billing, follows the retention policies of each service.

5. Security

• External communication is generally based on encrypted communication such as HTTPS.
• The App accesses data only to the extent necessary to provide its features.

6. Main Permissions Used on Android

• INTERNET: For network communication such as ad delivery, billing integration, model downloading, and displaying external sites.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC: For running background image analysis on Android.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: For displaying progress notifications of background analysis.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: For resuming processes required for widget updates.

Supplementary Notes:

• Image access is primarily performed through folders selected by the user via the Storage Access Framework (SAF).

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general image management and is not directed at children under the age of 13.

8. Policy Revisions

This policy may be revised in response to feature additions, legal changes, or operational changes.
The revised content will apply from the time it is published as the latest policy.
